Public Safety, streets and infrastructure, business climate, housing, and rising property taxes are priorities that I feel need our undivided attention as a community. They should be our top priorities. As a young person growing up here, a Duluth Denfeld graduate and a business owner, I have seen and experienced the challenges we are facing today and want to be a big part of moving Duluth city government back to the basics of serving its citizens.

My focus is on the people

Business, public safety, taxes, streets, and housing may be the issues I’m campaigning on – but my focus is and will always be on how each issue impacts the people of Duluth.

Business Climate

I will focus on improving, strengthening, and maintaining strong relationships with current and potential future businesses within the city, and creating a business-friendly environment through our regulations, codes and permitting processes.

Housing

Duluth’s housing crisis spans beyond one income group. We need to create housing options that work for everyone.

Infrastructure

Infrastructure is so much more than what meets the eye. It’s underground water, gas, and sewer that also needs our attention. Investing in streets, utilities, and maintenance is paramount for the success of our city.

Public Safety

We need to invest in our DPD, who sacrifices so much for our city. They’ve had our back and now it’s time that we have theirs. I will ensure that our DPD is fully funded and equipped to handle today’s challenges.

Rising Property Taxes

Rising property taxes are a big concern. Growing our tax base and sound budgeting would make raising property taxes unnecessary.
